| MAN, what a freakin fun weekend. We got a last feel for summer this weekend before the cold comes in and kills us all for the next several months. Gosh, and to think I was worried about storms messing everything up, besides losing power at my house and church for a little while (and having the cable knocked out ) and then God just made a complete 180ยบ change in the weather for us so that we could have a blast. Hot, sunny, dry weather, perfect for the beach and driving around my hometown. not to mention it was cool being the minority for a few days, lol

| man, hello all you xanga-ers! it's been awhile I know! I was gonna
write all about my summer and stuff like 5 weeks ago (which btw was the
best summer ever and I would love to tell you all about it in person
maybe sometime) but that's not working out on here.
So I talked with one of my good friends from a...certain mid western
state was telling me all these amazing stories about mid-western hicks.
Now, I understand that not all midwesterners are complete hicks, some
not at all (like this certain friend of mine) but the stories that come
out of some of these states freaking crack. me. up. I can't believe
people somtimes. -- anyways, this one story she told me is SO
amazing, not only am I devoting a post to it, but I think I'm gonna
work it into a script one day cause it's incredible, here's her story
about someone else straight from our IM convo (names have been
changed... ...courtney anderson)
ok so
Bertha lives with Jeffery.. they are hicks
and this Jeffery let this man name
travis live with them. only, he lived in a trailer which was parked in
their driveway (trailer travis)
i kid you not. now, Bertha and Jeffery
have pets. we're talking dog, cats, goats, pigs, and a skunk (which
lives in a cage in their dining room)
so for some reason, one day trailer
travis was picking up the goat from somewhere. vet maybe? ANYway, he
took Bertha's car to get it (i KNOW right??) it gets so better
travis, smart trailer man that he is,
forgets that he has a goat in the car with him. it was a hot day, and
he left the goat in the car.. and so it got overheated and peed over
everything
now, Jeffery gets home and freaks out
and i believe they were drunk, but i'm
not 100% sure.. lets just say its a good possibility. so Jeffery and
travis get in a fight. finally Jefferey tells travis just to go back in his
trailer to sleep
once travis fell asleep (heres the best part!)
Jeffery hooks the trailer up to his
truck, drives sleeping travis to the middle of nowhere, and LEAVES HIM
on the side of the road! in his trailer.. sleeping!!

It just peed everywhere... unbelievable
That's some prety incredible stuff right there folks.
Anyways, my friends and I could probably use some prayer this weekend!
We'll be driving 8 hrs to VA, during a tropical storm! they're
expecting like 17 inches of rain and flooding at this point, lol.
Should make our weekend pretty dang exciting! I'm actually pretty
excited about it but, there is the whole 'safety' issue when you're
going to the beach during a tropical storm.... hah
